The Story Behind the Event

Energy and Healing are the two main themes of this year’s Lupinus Festival. We hereby invite everyone to join us together to enjoy the blossoms of Lupinus plants.
This year, our festival is held across two main areas, the DaBeiKeng area and the HeYao (Kiln) area. The venue is known as “The Home to Lupine Flowers”, where they are planted originally. These flowers are planted by the local tea farmers towards the end of each year, and are expected to blossom around February ~ March of the following year. Under the bright sunlight, their yellow petals delineate a stunning picture of golden ocean. After withering away, these flowers become a great source of nutrition for the tea plantations, continuing to nurture the land and plants upon it.

The 7th “Taoyuan Lupinus Festival,” offers an opportunity to enjoy Lupinus blossoms, natural Hakka environments, cultural performances, activities, music, markets and more. Come and enjoy!
